Truffle Popcorn

 

 

INGREDIENTS  

60 gm popcorn kernels

Good quality white Truffle oil

Truffle salt (black and/or white)

 

METHOD

Pop corn using your normal method.  Drizzle truffle oil and salts over the popcorn to taste. I use a mix of both black and white Truffle oil and sometimes a bit of sea salt as well.

 

COMMENT

The quality of the Truffle oil does matter.  The cheaper ones tend to be more oily and less flavoursome.  The brand pictured I picked up in New York recently, but sadly ran out – so I’m now on the look for a brand available in Australia if you have any recommendations?  I get lots of oohs’ and aahs’ when I say I’ll make my ‘Truffle Popcorn’.
