These are Vegan and RAW, but do have Brandy.
So easy and so delicious and so full of Christmas flavours (I like the spices, if you are not so keen start with half the quantity suggested and ramp it up to your own taste).
Zest of 1 orange
20 g white sugar
2 teaspoons cornflour
1/2 cup of dates steeped in 1 to 2 tbsp. brandy for about 30 minutes
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ginger
juice of 1 orange
Grind the orange zest with the sugar and cornflour for 20 seconds, tip into a plate.
You don’t need to wash the bowl, just add the other ingredients.
Process all the other ingredients on speed 9 for about 20 to 30 seconds. Longer if you like it to be very smooth, I like a bit of crunch from the almonds.
Tip the mixture into a bowl. Roll the truffle mix into small balls, then roll in the orange zest mix. Keep in the fridge.
