Making mornings easier – Tip 1

I save so much time in the morning by having a ‘go to’ drawer and box within arms reach of my ‘workbench’ for when I am making breakfast and lunches.
Go to – DRAWER
The one drawer is a combination of sandwich spreads, muesli bars, light snacks, salt and pepper – any dry goods that can fit into it.
*If you don’t have a drawer within easy reach, get yourself a small sturdy basket that will fit in your pantry or easy to access cupboard, and put all your everyday items in that. So instead of pulling things out of the pantry one at time, you can pull your tool box out onto the bench, and easily put it all away when you are finished.
Go to – WHITE BOX
We have a white plastic tub, named ‘the white box’ which sits up high in the cupboard, housing a selection of ‘treat bags’ – mini packets of chips, crackers, pretzels, corn chips and biscuits. Its up high so the children can’t just help themselves, but is easy to access for an adult.
EXTRA EXTRA: I also have a dedicated drawer in the fridge for lunchbox items
