How often should you change your bed sheets?

According to Professor Mary-Louise McLaws, professor of epidemiology in healthcare and infection at UNSW, you should:

CHANGE YOUR BED SHEETS EVERY WEEK

Apparently if you are mostly healthy, once a week is fine.  We shed alot of skin cells and sweat alot when we are sleeping, which is a breeding ground for infection (particularly if you have fungal foot infections).
