When my eldest was just 8 months old, I was given this book as a gift. I admit, I didn’t think it was too exciting at the time, but it wasn’t long before I was totally sold on it.. and now have given away my fair share of copies to new parents.
This book points you in the right direction when your child is ill. For example – your child has a rash in the middle of the night and won’t sleep – do you wait til the morning, do you call a doctor or go straight to the hospital? Dr Google is free, and has perhaps alot of up to date information, but the problem with google is that there is sooo much information.
“When your child is ill” offers straight forward diagrams and images, and is always my starting point when unknown symptons appear.
I love “When your child is ill – A home guide for parents”
