Habitat Hairdressing: Cruel to be Kind?

By Laura Kerr

Is it necessary to test on animals to get the right hair products that actually work?

Sodium Free, Phosphate Free, Sulphate Free doesn’t have to mean ineffective.

Our want to use PETA approved and cruelty free products normally is outweighed by the fact that we still need results.
Most of us have gone with good intention and purchased the ‘Organic’ shampoo from a trusted brand. 10 shampoo’s later and we are saying  “Arghh get me to Woolies!” to buy a generic brand in a hope of results.

cruel to be kind

Wouldn’t it be great if we could do both. Use a brand thats entire range of shampoo’s, conditioners and styling products are cruelty free and natural.

The answer has been to use natural ingredients and formulate them chemically, for instance used kernels in shampoo’s that provide exfoliation.

Kevin Murphy has been created with skincare in-mind but for our hair.

Here at Habitat Hairdressing we have struggled to find the next big brand.  This is partly because over the last 20 years we have used every known brand and still felt something lacking – but for most part when your spending $8000 on hair products then you kinda want to make sure the range has everything.

1. Does it do what it says? TICK
2. Does it have what clients want and need? TICK

These are big ticks by the way.

We are so happy we can without any doubt recommend our products to everyone.

Actually its a range that makes you giggle with names like ‘ROUGH RIDER’ ,’SUPEREGOO’, YOUNG AGAIN’, ‘EASY RIDER’ AND ‘SHIMMER SHINE’.

We are always proud that these unassuming products deliver beyond client expectations.

Take a look at our range and let us know if you have any questions, in the comments segment below, or by sending us an email
