TEST KITCHEN: Raw Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough balls

Welcome to our new Test Kitchen segment.  This is where I try a new recipe and see how it turns out in comparison to the wonderful recipe book pictures, and share feedback from the family.   Expect the good, the bad and the ugly!

INGREDIENTS  for this delicious recipe include:  Almond meal, Medjool dates, sea salt, bicarb soda, vanilla extract, coconut oil and chocolate… due to copy write laws I cannot provide you with the full recipe here, but click this link to go directly to Quirky Jo’s recipe (just take note of my comments below).

I am a bit of a fan of cookie dough in general… I might just like to bake cookies and cakes so I can eat the dough….  also a big fan of Ben and Jerrys… so when I came across this option, I thought it was definitely worth a try.  These are now a regular in my fridge (I am the only one that will eat them) – I am loving them for an afternoon snack and to combat my sweet cravings.  They really are so easy to make as well (note they taste best when they have cooled in the fridge for around 30 mins).
